You haven\u2019t heard from me for a long time, I know.
\nSince arriving in Thailand something has changed in my body and mind. I have the feeling that I found my current „Happy Place“ in Thailand.
\nAs happy and contented as there, I have rarely been in my life so far.
\nThe people, places, moments, conjure up a smile on my face every day and fill me with positive energy.
\nI\u2018m just happy to wake up in the morning and realize where I am at the moment and how thankful I can be.<\/p>\n

So I started in the north of Thailand, in beautiful and cultural Chiang Mai.
\nThe city may not seem very impressive to some at first, but as soon as you open your eyes and perceive its surroundings, you will find small and big wonders everywhere.
\nGood food, hidden and obvious street art, clothing, traditional buildings and plants find their way to grow everywhere. And of course the locals.
\nThailand is not called the Land of Smiles for nothing. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

In addition, there are some elephant camps in the area around Chiang Mai, which you can visit with tours.
\nAnd I have to say that the time I spent together with the elephants is one of my favorite moments while my travels. The animals are so unbelievably peaceful, calm, clever and beautiful. Put it on your bucket list!
\n(Please take care that there is NO elephant riding!)<\/p>\n

Besides Chiang Mai, I had another destination in the north of Thailand. Pai.
\nIt is located in the middle of the mountains and surpasses the positive and relaxed energy of Chiang Mai’s.<\/p>\n

Pai is tiny and you can reach everything within easy walking distance. Every evening, the main street becomes a huge food market and street stalls line up. Happy people with a big grin on their face are chatting about the good food and strolling the streets.
\nLife there feels like a colorful soap bubble to me. Completely isolated from the stressful daily routine. Only surrounded by nature and beautiful things.
\nBut after about two weeks in that beautiful surrounding, it was time for me and my ‚Pai-Family‘ to say \u201aGoodbye\u2018 and we set off to the south. To Koh Tao.
\nAnd this decision has been one of the best decisions I\u2018ve ever made.
\nJust like in Pai, I felt right at home on this small island in the middle of the Gulf of Thailand. So good that I’ve decided to stay there for a few months, make it my new home, make the most and best of my time, and be happy.<\/p>\n

So my loves, follow your heart, your dreams and your fantasy. Be Happy and enjoy every second! We only live once.<\/p>\n

\nihr habt schon lange nichts mehr von mir geh\u00f6rt ich wei\u00df.<\/p>\n

Seitdem ich Anfang November in Thailand angekommen bin, hat sich etwas in meinem K\u00f6rper und Geist ver\u00e4ndert. Ich hatte und habe immer noch das Gef\u00fchl das ich meinen momentanen \u201eHappy Place\u201c in Thailand gefunden habe.
\nSo gl\u00fccklich und zufrieden wie dort, war ich bisher nur selten in meinem Leben.
\nDie Menschen, Orte, Momente, zaubern mir einfach t\u00e4glich ein L\u00e4cheln ins Gesicht und erf\u00fcllen mich mit positiver Energie. Es macht einfach gl\u00fccklich morgens aufzuwachen und zu realisieren wo man eigentlich gerade ist und wie dankbar man sein kann.
\nIch startete also im Norden von Thailand, im wundersch\u00f6nen kulturellen Chiang Mai.
\nDie Stadt mag f\u00fcr manche auf den ersten Blick vielleicht nicht sehr eindrucksvoll wirken, aber sobald man die Augen auf macht und seine Umgebung wahr nimmt, findet man hier \u00fcberall kleine und gro\u00dfe Sch\u00e4tze.
\nGutes Essen, versteckte und offensichtliche Stra\u00dfenkunst, Kleidung, traditionelle Geb\u00e4ude und Pflanzen die \u00fcberall ihren Weg zum Wachsen finden. Und nat\u00fcrlich die Locals.<\/p>\n

Thailand wird nicht umsonst das Land des L\u00e4chelns genannt. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Zudem gibt es in der Gegend um Chiang Mai herum einige Elefanten-Camps, welche man mit Touren besuchen kann.
\nUnd ich muss sagen, dass die gemeinsame Zeit mit den Elefanten, zu meinen liebsten Momenten auf Reisen z\u00e4hlt. Die Tiere sind so unglaublich friedlich, ruhig, clever und wundersch\u00f6n. Setzt es auf eure Bucket-List!
\n(Bitte achtet aber bei den Camps darauf, das es KEIN Elefanten-Reiten gibt!)<\/p>\n

Neben Chiang Mai, hatte ich noch ein weiteres Ziel im Norden Thailands. Und zwar das 120km entfernte kleine St\u00e4dtchen Pai.
\nEs liegt mitten in den Bergen und \u00fcbertrifft die positive und entspannte Energie Chiang Mai\u2018s nochmal um einiges.
\nPai ist winzig und man kann im Zentrum alles easy zu Fu\u00df erreichen. Jeden Abend wird die Hauptstrasse zu einem riesigen Foodmarket und Stra\u00dfenst\u00e4nde reihen sich dicht aneinander. Gl\u00fcckliche Menschen mit einem breiten Grinsen im Gesicht unterhalten sich \u00fcber das gute Essen und schlendern durch die Stra\u00dfen. Das Leben dort f\u00fchlt sich f\u00fcr mich an wie in einer bunten Seifenblase. Komplett abgeschottet von dem stressigen Alltagstrott. Nur umgeben von Natur und sch\u00f6nen Dingen.
\nNach etwa zwei Wochen war es dann aber Zeit f\u00fcr mich und meiner \u201aPai-Family\u2018 dem St\u00e4dtchen Tsch\u00fcss zu sagen und wir machten uns auf den Weg Richtung S\u00fcden. Nach Koh Tao.<\/p>\n

Und diese Entscheidung z\u00e4hlt zu den besten Entscheidungen seit langem. Genau wie in Pai f\u00fchlte ich mich auf dieser kleinen Insel in Mitten des Golf von Thailand direkt wohl. So wohl, das ich mich entschieden habe, f\u00fcr ein paar Monate dort zu bleiben, es zu meinem neuen Zuhause zu machen, die Zeit in vollen Z\u00fcgen zu nutzen und gl\u00fccklich zu sein.<\/p>\n

Also meine Lieben, folgt eurem Herzen, euren Tr\u00e4umen und Vorstellungen. Seit gl\u00fccklich und lebt! Denn wir leben so nur einmal.<\/p>\n
