Our last stop in Vietnam was the largest island in Halong Bay.
Cát Bà Island.
The island itself is not as overcrowded as the well-known Halong Bay and you have time to sit back and relax. That is exactly what my Mum and I have done the last few days in Vietnam. Just relaxed. That’s why I can not tell you much about the island. Except that it hosts one of the most beautiful national parks in Vietnam and is a great location to do day trips to Halong Bay.

The latter we have done and booked a tour with kayaking, a stopover on Monkey Island and snorkeling. (The snorkeling can also be omitted, there’s not much to see underwater)
Despite all, the tour really paid off. The field formations in the water and their floating villages in between was worth it all!

Have a good one.
