Hello again:)

I am once again in a new country and also on a new continent. Indonesia. Asia.

After saying good-bye to Fiji with a tearful and laughing eye, I went to Bali with an 7-hour stopover in Brisbane. Bali was and is next to Fiji one of the destinations which have always been at the top of my wish list and I have always wanted to see. Now I am here … and I am so excited.

Arrived at the airport, I was waiting for over an hour for my backpack … Welcome to Bali! 😁 Somehow, however, it showed up and I was finally able to get into a taxi at half-past twelve in the night and made a direct acquaintance with the typical, chaotic Asian driving style. 😀

I was really exhausted when I arrived at my accommodation and fell asleep immediately.

The next morning, the world looked much more relaxed and beautiful & as soon as I took my first step on the streets of Ubud, I fell in love with the cultural and wary city. To get used to the city, I strolled along the nearby streets, past a small market and past several temples.

And what is so unbelievable to me … are the cheap prices here … 🙈 it is so difficult for me to understand that such good food, clothing and art can be so cheap. Especially after the expensive Australia. : D

So now have fun with the photos.

Xx, Janice

Welcome to Bali!

xx, Janice
